Alexandra Mann -Talmage was born and raised in New York City. My grandparents bought a summer home on Further Lane, in East Hampton in the 1930's .Up on the double dunes surrounded by potato fields it was a summer retreat and stepping stone for countless family members and friends whom soon became home owners and neighbors . Field and water views passed uninterrupted, wide sandy beaches,quiet back roads ,where my family and friends enjoyed spending summer vacations and weekends. My love of the East End was inherited and I moved out to East Hampton as a full time resident in 1978. Here is where I pursued my love of equestrian sport ,training with top Olympian professionals and began training and competing in equestrian show jumping . I helped transform local Bridgehampton farmer,Daniel Baldwyn's dairy farm on Scuttlehole Rd. in Bridegehampton into a premier riding stable ., In 2009 I earned a US Equestrian Federation 'R' judges license and I enjoy officiating at several nationaly prominent competitions., My combined experiences and connections in the equestrian world both locally and abroad , my ties to the community, and knowledge of the area and it's history provide me with a unique perspective and global connections.
