A native of
Alabama, Mr. John Martin received an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama
and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he
was selected for membership in Phi Alpha Delta.

Mr. John Martin has served on various
non-profit boards in the Birmingham area and is a member of the Birmingham
Exchange Club and an Elder of Briarwood Presbyterian Church.  He and his
wife, Gay, have two children, Eliza and Russell.  He enjoys traveling,
sailing, skiing, and kayaking. 

Experience
John Martin brings to the firm
thirty years of experience with a regional bank’s trust department where he
concentrated in estate planning and wealth preservation.

John Martin is admitted
to the Alabama State Bar and is active in the Birmingham Bar Association and
the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham.  He has served on the
faculty for Alabama Continuing Legal Education and the Southern Trust
School.
