No one has a better or deeper understanding of a community than someone who grew up there. Born and raised in Palm Beach, James Wentley ? known to his family and friends as "J" ? puts his in-depth knowledge of the Palm Beach market to work for clients looking to buy or sell luxury property in the area's iconic upscale neighborhoods., J attended the Palm Beach Day Academy, graduated from Boca Raton's Saint Andrew's High School, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications at The College of Charleston, in South Carolina, starring in lacrosse at each school. Growing up, he frequently helped out in the family business, a popular quartet of shops ? Aristokids, Aristokids Outpost, P.B. Boys Club, and P.B. Girls Club ? featuring everything from casual apparel to surfing gear., Upon joining Douglas Elliman, J was pleased to become a member of the Pohrer Group, led by top producer Gary Pohrer, whose relentless work ethic and record setting sales of oceanfront residences have made him one of the most successful agents in the Palm Beach area. J currently resides in West Palm Beach and enjoys spending his personal time surfing and paddle boarding.
