She quickly found employment in the international jewelry business and spent the next ten years buying and selling gems in Brazil, England, Africa, and the US, with frequent visits to the town of Idar-Oberstein in Germany to have the finer gems cut., Although Lisa was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, her family had a vacation home in the mountains where she enjoyed boating and water skiing in the summer and snow skiing in the winter. A resident of Florida for the past 25 years, she recently settled in Boca Raton. In her off-hours, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, still loves snow skiing, water skiing, and tennis, and continues to enjoy traveling around the US and Europe.
